I would like to scan an original document, and the have an easy way to put a batch number on each page and then print the doc for use.
Since you are scanning the original, I'd just write your batch number (in reverse) on the scanner glass using a Sharpie marker.
Once you've finished a batch, remove the number using alcohol and a Q-tip.
It's low-tech, but should work.
