My car shuts down out of the blue!
I have no idea why! But It sometimes goes for weeks with out having any problems.! =]
although when it does happen, it takes a while to start back up.
An amateur mechanic (a friend) said it could be the main relay.?
can any one help me out?

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM), being sure to apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM.

. Check/replace the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting, if the problem persists.

. Replace the main relay, if the engine starts in the cool of the morning but won't in the heat of the day.
