I saw a movie in my local cinema in the mid to late 1950, but all I can remember about the movie is a scene where two men are swordfighting in a house or cabin in the woods. The one guy runs the other one through with his sword and as he falls to the ground he leaves a trail of blood on the wall. The film must have been in colour as the blood was so vivid. I don't know if this was an American movie or a British movie, and as I was only 9 or 10 at the time I don't know the names of any of the actors. The film must have been made sometime between 1950 and 1959. I have been trying to find out the name of this film for decades but with no success. I realise the description I have given is not much to go on ,but if anyone can come up with the answer I will be truly grateful.
