Unfortunately Florida is one of the most tenant-unfriendly states in the country. He can give you as little as 15 days notice that your tenancy is terminated and you must move out.

I agree but he must notify you properly that he is terminating your month to month arrangement. He must give notice by letter so your 15 days will not start until that happens.

He has to give you 15 days notice prior to the end of the rental period. So if your rent is due at the end of the month, its too late to require that you vacate by the end of November. So it looks like you will have until the end of December, unless the rental is due on some other schedule.
