I saw this movie on TV but was one of the most bizarre I have seen on the subject of drugs. It was mainly a mother son relationship were son was addicted to heavy drugs and the mother on medical medication and they seemed to help each other in there addictions, it had a sort of sexual overtone between the both of them very strange .In one scene I remember the mother trying to help him shoot up drugs but with no syringe she used a fork to rip open the veins in his arm with little protest from the son so the drugs could be poured in the open veins . He night have been her stepson or adopted I am only thinking this because of the sexual overtones between the both of them .But there world was upside-down twisted and emotionally chaotic and the main story was based around the boys life I think .( if you haven't seen it and we find out its name take a look )

Requiem for a Dream? Just a stab to try & help. Don't remember the vein-opening scene, but it was a weird drug movie involving a son & his mother all messed up on drugs.
