    Pregnancy feelings
I'm 3 months pregnant and I feel fluttery movements on the left side of my lower abdomen then later there's preasure on my lower abdomen as if the baby is crwoning... is that possible? Or am I imagining things?

The foetus is small and there is lots of room inside the uterus right now, so Baby is swimming around and having lots of fun. It is much too early for him to be "crowning."

Baby is just moving around, maybe jumping up and down on your cervix or on your bladder. Nothing serious is going on.

Your growing abdomen is putting pressure on your nerves. A full bladder will also cause this feeling.

So that will explain my frequant visits to the toilet...
I'm new to this, and have a lot of questions in my head...

Yes, that would explain your frequent visits. AND, as the baby grows, those visits to the toilet will get more frequent. As long as there is no pain or burning on urination, this is all quite normal.

Okay, I'm safe on that side.
What causes the pain on my abdomen when I sneeze, I do that a lot lately. Should I be worried?

Nothing to be worried about. Just common symptoms of pregnancy.

No, just stay away from diet drinks and caffeine.

Helpful indeed... now coming to the weeks, months and trimesters (they very confusing). If I'm 16 weeks, due on 03/05/13 how amny months am I exactly?

If you are due in May, you are 16 weeks and 4 days. That would roughly put you at 4 months.

Okay, so if I haven't been to a doctor as yet, when would the best time be?

Oh, goodness. Yesterday would be a good time to see a doctor.

I hope you are taking prenatal vitamins?

There are different complications that can occur at different times during the pregnancy. You should have started seeing a doctor as soon as you found out you were pregnant.

    Okay, I get that.
What are prenatal vitamins? Where can I get them? Are they safe even when not prescribed by my doctor?

You can get them at any big bog store or any pharmacy. You should have been taking them the day you found out you were pregnant to avoid any neural tube defects such as spina bifida.

You don't need a prescription for them. But you DO need to see a doctor. Tomorrow won't be too soon.
