So my girlfriend and I have been dating for 9 months now and its been amazing. We never fight and we love each other very much. The other day, she told me how her best guy friend and her decided that he was her "boyfriend without benefits" and laughed. Is this a weird thing to say? I've had a few gf's in the past and this is the strangest thing a girlfriend has ever said to me. Am I too paranoid about it? Why would she say that? Thank you

It's odd but I don't see a real problem with it. It means they're really close but don't have sex I guess.

It is possible to have a close friend of the opposite sex without having sex. I have a female friend who is real hot but we are only friends... nothing more.
