Recently I stole a bit from the store I was working at. I signed a paper stating that I stole 60$ but found out after signing the papers that they are saying I stole 1500$ so I am being charged with theft under 5000$. I am 21 and this is a first offense. What I want to know is will me having signed a paper stealing that much and them saying I stole more (I don't recall stealing more then that.) make me take a jail sentence? Or what could be my sentence at all at this point?
