I've been on protonix for heartburn for around 4 months.. my doctor increased it from 20 mg to 40 mg.. around 2 months ago.. I wake up @ night as soon as I fall asleep an feel like I can't breath.. my stomach is sooo bloated and its been like that for around a month I actually stay constipated also.. I take stool softener and just started taking probiotics to see if it would help.. well my husband noticed that my stomach looks red... almost like a rash but looks like little tiny red vains... I don't know why I'm so bloated or my stomach looks red... and can protonix do this? I don't take anything else...
