I have two shi-tzus one male(9 years old) one female (12 years old) we have been in the same house for 5ish years and they have both started peeing and some times pooping in the house. I have let them outside to go potty and let them back in and caught them potting on the floor. I try to let them out as much as and as often as I can. What can I do?

How often do you walk them?

When did you last take them to the vet for a checkup?

How long has this been going on?

Any changes in the household?

Are they both fixed?

Bottom line, they're both older dogs. Dogs, like people, can have accidents when they get older.

Having said that, rule out a medical issue by going to the vet.
