I had my lmp on oct 8th. I spotted around oct 21 and 22 just small pink spot when I wiped once on both days. I am now ten dats late ( have a 29 to 30 day cycle). Took eight pregnancy tests all negative and one at the doctors ( urine test) and again negative. I'm not stressed I live comfortably. Doc wants me to go back in a month and give me something to jump start my period. Having butterfly feelings, cramps, emotional and nauseated. Wouldn't give me a blood test. Pregnant or not pregnant? And what would u do?

Urine tests there days are pretty accurate.

There are lots of reasons for a missed or late period.

Why will they not do a blood test ? That would give a definite answer. Might be worth approaching them again on that.

Unfortunately a lot of early pregnancy symptoms are similar to pre- period symptoms.

You ask what would we do - if it were me, I'd ask for a blood test.

She says I should just test again in 30 days which I understand... I'm not stressing about it either (pregnancy). I'm still living my day like I normally would just sometimes think to myself that I want the witch to start already haha. I'm worried to jump starting the cycle in case there is something to worry about. Which was kind of my question... In case there is a problem would you want them to jump start your cycle... I would just rather let it come naturally. I also have two boys five and three and those are the only times my period didn't show up on time.

Oh and also the doctor I had seen is my usual just took whatever I could and honestly wasn't too fond of her either so I figured if in thirty days I still have nothing I will see my usual doctor.

I'd personally like it to start naturally but its always best to be guided by the docs in these matters.

If you are not anxious about a pregancy then just let is go for the next 30 days, but if another baby would cause... problems... then the sooner it is checked the better for you.
