We found a cat and we think it is preagnant.But, it did belong to someone previously and they moved away and left it. So, we have been keeping the cat inside and the previous owner had her outside. We have been keeping her for about a week now. We do not know any of her habbits so we really can't tell anything about her. We are wondering how to tell if she is preanant? Can you tell if the have been spayded ?

Cats are pretty basic, if you have been feeding her and let her out (I hope you have a litter box!), then she will return to you. You will have to take her to a vet to determine if pregnant, or just take your chances. In a couple of months you may have six or whatever little bodies she will take care of for a certain period (mom cats clean up while delivering a litter). Then you will have to keep them or find homes for them. If she isn't neutered after this and you want to keep her, then I would suggest you have her neutered. Is she a nice cat ?

Yes she is so sweet and very smart. I live her dearly. I am getting a litter box asap but what will happen if I don't have one until that time?
