I had sex a day before my period got my period started my birth control the Sunday following was protected now its Wednesday of my pill and Im spotting is this normal

You aren't protected by the Pill until the second month you take it...

I understand this but I have been taking it for 5 years now and stop for a month had sex protected the month I droped taking it had my period and started again that Sunday and now it's Wednesday and I have kind of a spotting normal or?

OK... thats a bit different... however you are aware condoms are only 80% effective IF used correctly... you wouldn't be protected a month after stopping medically however.

Even the pill isn't 100%. I can name at least two members here (both moderators) who have had children while using TWO or more forms of birth Control... one of them is a Registered nurse in Pediatrics...

If you are concerned you really need to wait a month after that date to take a test and be able to feel secure in a negative. If you get a positive at any time before that... you can believe it too.

Usually a period will indicate you aren't... however a small percentage of pregnant women do have false periods... so even that is not 100% sure as an indicator.
