I just got off my period a little less then a week ago and when I wipe there's a dark discharge about a brownish color. My mom says its just old blood but it's been going on for about four days and it comes with a really annoying smell. It's almost sour. There's no irritation besides the fact it's annoying. No burning, itching, swollenness or rash. I'm 16 so I don't see why it could be a yeast infection because I'm so young but that's my opinion it might be the case. Please help the best you can

Have you left a tampon in by mistake? Is there any chance you could have been pregnant? I would see the doctor if it continues. Sometimes it can take a while to settle down when you are young.

If you develop a fever or cramps get to the doctor ASAP.
