Hello. I have been on the birth control pill (Alesse) for 12 years. There have been numerous times where I have not taken the 7 days off the pill for my period, continued over for the month to miss my period, and go back to the normal routine after that.
Recently, I intended to do that again. However, for the first time ever, I had some spotting. I didn't care because I know that happens. However, I have been bleeding the whole pack of pills and it isn't getting any lighter. Is there something that I should know or do? I feel this is strange since I've been on the pill for so long and never had this issue. Thank you.
