First I had a bump that showed up on the inner side of my left vagina lip I soaked in hot bath tried to POP it it didn't POP but left it alone 2 days later it went away. About a week later same kind of bump popped up on the outer part of lip it is raised , red , and swollen it is painful , I tried popping it as well but it would not, what do u think this could be?

Unfortunately, it could be herpes. The herpes virus will lie dormant and show it's symptoms at random times. One could also have the virus for years and not realize it. Trying to pop it will not help and could actually spread it further if it is the virus. The best thing is to check with the Dr. a swab can be done in the office and the results would be in a few days. OR it could be a sort of irritation or something not to worry at all about! I thought if its herpes the bump will turn into a lesion OR ulcerate , is this true? Can herpes remain as a bump ?
