    Statute barred - judgement
If there has been a judgement for collection, and nothing has been done for 7 years, does it fall within the statute barred?

I don't have a copy of the judgement, but a collector had one for a loan over 7 years ago. It has been taken off my credit report in May.

Does it still stand or have they passed the 6 year time limit?

A statute of limitations only bars suit if sufficient time has elapsed between the time the money was due and the date the creditor files in court. After the creditor files and gets a judgment, it lasts indefinitely, although some states have language providing that if now renewed a judgment may lapse.

To fully answer your question we would have to know what state or country you are in.
