    Removal of gastric stimulator
Hello I had a gastric stimulator removed last Monday, and needed a bit of advice. The area where the main device was is very swollen and has a hard lump there, It is painful, and I am so bloated I look 9 months pregnant. If I eat the smallest amonut of food the uncomfortable feeling is worse, and the pain in that area is worse. Is this normal or should I call the surgeon. What could this be and what do you think will help. Thank You Elaine

Please call your surgeon. Any advice from strangers over the internet could be detrimental to your health.

The internet can be a very dangerous place when it comes to medicine. The best advice is always from your personal health care provider.
