    Phantom hot wire in panel
Since I had lost power to one of the two 1-car garages, I opened the electrical panel to have a look. There was an unconnected black wire and a breaker that had no wire connected to it.

Thinking the phantom black wire had come off the breaker, I figured I could just reconnect It to the breaker and I'd be all set. Although I expected it to be dead, I put a meter on it and read 110VAC! If I had connected it to the breaker, I don't know what would have happened, but it would not have been good.

    What I'd like tom
