I have a 97 expedition. A couple of weeks ago I bought gas at a Kroger station I don't usually go to, but is always busy. Afterwards, that whole week it took 4 or 5 tries to get it started, and a bunch of white smoke would come out of the exhaust. Once I got gas somewhere else, the problem ceased. I was wondering what could cause this?

We have filled 2 cars at Kroger for the past 5 years without a problem. Sure you didn't put some diesal fuel in it,

I would change your Fuel Filter, dump into a clear Jar, It may show contaminants, or water?

Or Coincidence?

I'm positive I didn't put any diesel in it.
I'll change the fuel filter and post back.
