I'm 12 yrs old and I've been having a light brown discharge for about a year? It stops every now and then but is usually always there. I haven't ha my first period. Why's this happening?

How often does it come? How long does it last? How long does it go away for?

It comes about every month & last about two weeks or maybe longer . It's kind of a light yellowish, brownish..

Most likely it is actually your period. It can be different for different girls.

Have you talked to your mom about it? If not, you should.

Okay.. Thanks for the information :D but I expected it to be bloody? Oh well...

It will eventually be bloody. Not every woman starts their period the same way.
