How do I run two switches for two different light off on power source?
Can I run two switches for two different lights off off one power source? I have one power lead into the junction box and I have to use this for two separate rooms. I have a light for each room and a switch in each room with lines running back to the junction box. How do I wire them up so each switch works on its own even though I am using the same power source for both?

All depends on where the junction box is relative to the lights. If the junction box is in the ceiling this is probably the easiest. If junction box is not in the ceiling it is probably easier to split off at the junction box and go to each switch and then to the light fixture. If the junction box is not between the two light fixtures, it is probably easier to run a power cable to the closest fixture, then to the second fixture. Then install switch loops as shown.
