Whirlpool dishwasher - turns on fills with water but no motor sound - thereby does not pump- float bad? Motor was making a louder noise before trouble. Therefore suspect motor also. I'm hesitant to remove motor because of all the gaskets that have to replace just to find out it is not the motor at all. There is no water flow and no draining of the water out of bottom. Can check the resistance of the motor - I'm thinking instead of removing whole dishwasher trying to remove foot panel to access the motor. Any preliminary thoughts to troubleshoot problem before I start.
