    Jo Anderson,

The names are termed as male or female, on the basis of
    - How they sound?
    - How they are used conventionally?
    - What gender have they been attached to in religious, mythological or literary books or in folk lore?

Sometimes, there are names which become feminine by addition or subtraction of the end. For example, Stephen is a masculine name, but Stephnie is a feminine one.

    Kristiann - Male
    Enni - Female
    Alana - Female
    Cadee - Male
    Jade - Male
Maya - Female (Indian name, Hindi word meaning money or temptation, as money is also known as an allurement in India. Maya has been the Chief Minister of UP, the biggest province in India, in terms of population)
    Steph - Male
    Samantha - Female
    Traci - Female
Becka - Female (Beck is a male name)
Robyn - Male (Very famous name)
Sidney - Male (A famous sonneteer of Elizabethan age)

But, it is not the last word. There are variations, on the basis of culture and convention, too. But, by and large, this is the classification.

I hope, you got your answer. Do not forget to react or reply.

If you are in the US or the UK, all of those names would be of the female persuasion.

I would say they're female, too. However, Sidney and Robyn can easily go both ways depending on spelling.
Generally - Sydney/Robyn are female, while Sidney/Robin can be male.
