I am 31 and married 2 months back. Usually my periods are 22-30 days. My last period was on 5th Oct. This time I expected it to be in between 27th - 5th of Nov, but I got my period on 9th Nov which is dark brown, some clots and severe abdominal pain. Usually my period would be normal like there won't be any abdominal or backpain and lasts for 3 days. This time, before my period there was spotting on tissue for 2days (1st day it was very light but 2nd day it was a bit more) with lower abdominal pain (middle but not in any side) , dizzyness during mornings and lasted till afternoons, tenderness on stomach like some times even I could not place my hand on stomach. Took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. I took ipill in the month of march. Could you please tell me why this had happened

The Ipill would not be doing this if it was taken in March, if you took it in last 30 days, this is a cause.

Does not sound like pregnancy but more perhaps an infection of some sort.

The period just being off a week or so, even missing one now and then is not uncommon, esp with stress of marriage. But if the pain continues, time to see your doctor for tests.
