Hi I'm 14 days late, I've done many hpt , some first morning test s & some other times of the day , the 1st 2 tests I had a faint positive , but all the others av bn negative , not sure if it was an evaporation line , but still no period , I'm having a lot of symptoms and feel pregnant . Don't know what to do for the best .

Ok, at 14 days late you are just at the point where you should be testing. If you tested at one or two days late, those seldom show positive even if you are.

Of course you know to take them first thing in the morning as soon as you get up, that gives the best readings early into a pregnancy.

But there are dozens of reasons for periods to be late, or even missed, from stress, infections and other issues.

If you are testing early in the morning at 14 days late, it should be a correct reading. But then at times some women, don't show up till latter for some reason.

So you may if still negative, just wait to see about the next period, and if that is also missed, go see your doctor. ** although you could go see your doctor now also
