I met a guy a few months ago and he seemed really nice.
We were together a few months when my friend showed me a profile on a dating site of a guy she had been chatting to. Turns out it was him. He swears he was on chatting because he was stuck in the house bored as he was sick. There wasn't anything particularly flirty but they had only been talking for an hour or so. Is it wrong for me to think he may have cheated on me with others from the site? Or like he said, take him at his word that there was nothing in it?

If you aren't married or even engaged... then there is no real expectation of monogamy...

Just because you are dating someone.. doesn't automatically entitle them to exclusivity. The relationship HAS to have gone beyond that stage...

I chat with friends online all the time, most of them I've never met, and most of them are guys. I'm married, and faithful to my husband.

Chatting online is not cheating.

Do you use dating sites to chat and state in your profile "single and looking" ?

The dating site is the only issue I would have with this. On the other hand, if what you read didn't contain anything bad, maybe he's not really doing anything wrong.
