How to tell when your dry wells are bad...
I recently had my septic tank pumped. It was full and due. It had been about 2.5 years since it had last been pumped. I realized it needed it because I was getting standing water over where my dry wells are. Well after having it pumped it worked great for a few days but I am actually only 5 days out and my yard is flooding again...

Is it sewerage waste water? If so, it appears your field may be waterlogged.

If your field is waterlogged ot will take a long time to dry out since you are always putting water into it. If you need a new field, look into an Infiltrator system.

Brian nailed it! The soil around your dry well can no longer disperse the water the dry well sends it. It must be moved. At this time I would recommend that you install a drain field instead of a dry well. Good luck, Tom
