    Prepacked Frozen Salmon Fillet Cooking
Hi, tonight I cooked from frozen (as the pack said) salmon fillets, and when they were in for the right amount of time, there was white stuff on the top (like egg white), do you think that they would be overcooked or undercooked? They were a bit chewy and rubbery as well?

Salmon is very easy to overcook, I never cook from frozen, let thaw and then pan fry, broil or grill. Marinate and brush with a bourbon wash and YUMMY, just like Longhorn's! I usually keep cutting open the thicker pieces and just when they start to go opaque, pull them off. The "egg white" stuff is common. I tried something new 2 nights ago, 1/2 package of Trader Joes vegetable fried rice, toss and stir fry with 1 egg, add 1 crumbled up piece, about 8-10 oz, of pan fried Salmon-feeds 2, great!
