I just dewormed my puppy. She has passed worms twice in her stool and has had two bowel movements with no worms after that. Now her belly is very swollen. Should I be concerned? I'm taking her to the vet for the first time on Friday but I just want to know that she's oaky till then.

She should be, but if she gets worms again after that, you should check into maybe changing her food.

Pu ps don't get worms from packaged dog food.

Deworming can cause gastrointestinal upset and would be uncomfortable for your pup. Yes a vet visit is necessary, if only to educate you and settle your mind.
