Can I move my child out of state?
Right now I have a volunteer job and receive about $200 in food stamps and $432 in cash assistance, I would like to move out of state to get a paying job and get off the assistance. HOWEVER the father and I are in the middle of a custody battle, and will absolutely not allow me to take our child out of the state, even to visit my family. I have custody with him seeing her on the weekends, but he rarely does.
How can I make it to where I can get full custody and let the mediator see how the move would be beneficial to my child, and not put her at risk like where we are living at the moment. (It is not a very safe city anymore.)

What's the plan for him to have visitation if you were to move out of state? Can you afford to pay to send the child back for visitation ?
