I had a HSG test done and the results was I had a shaggy irregular lower segment uterine so now I have to have a saline sonogram done. Can you tell me what that means? The doctor really didn't explain it. Can I still have children? Is there any treatment for that? My falliopan tubes was good and open and she said my wall was thick.

Saline solution injected into the uterus for a test is no big deal, navywife, however, the wall of your uterus is thick, meaning fibroids (meaning thick portions as a result of age), possibly making it more difficult to become pregnant.

30 yrs old and I have PCOS so we are going through fertiliy treatments!

Then I don't understand your problem then. You obviously have very good follow up through your gyno; can't you just trust her/his advice?

yeah I do I just want to under stand what was a shaggy irregular lower segment was and could it be fixed. It's always good to ask others that's what this site is for right?

And they just gave me the results and didn't explain it the tech told me and I haven't seen my doc yet so I wanted to get more info
