    Charged with fraud in UK
My boyfriend started appearing in court October 2011 as his old employer where taking him up for fraud by deception. He started with another employer before he was due to appear in court so did not tell them and did not tell them throughout the case as he wasn't convicted. Last fri a year later he has now been sentenced to 6 months and has to serve half the time. His employer have now sent him a letter to dismiss him from employment because he did not tell them about the case, and because they cannot offer him a job where he doesn't have to be trusted with money. He has worked there a year and proved himself. Can they do this? Should he have told him about the court case? Or can we appeal this decision? I live in northern ireland by the way

They are certainly within their rights. He should have told them. Why appeal the decision, they won't have him back, why should they ?
