Me and boyfriend have been friends from high school and I knew before we started going out that he liked this girl, when we first started going out the communication between them stopped and our relationship was great. We have been together for over a year now and during the past week a lot has changed between us, it had started when he had gone out with her to dinner when we were having a down time (we broke up) and I confronted him about it and gave him an ultimatum between me and her (he has been friends with her since elementry school) he said he couldn't cut her out of her life. I was honestly heart broken. So I sucked it up and accepted it. A couple of days have gone by now and I asked him if he wanted to be with her and he said "deep down i wonder what it would be like but i love what we have even though its rough at times". I don't know what do or how to react. I love him but I can only take so much? Any advice

I would cut him loose. No point in being with someone if his heart is not fully committed to you. Because basically your going to be second best with him. And no one should ever have to go through that or deal with it you deserve to be someone's first priority and not have to worry rather he wants to be with someone else.

Im really scared to go, he's the first guy that's I've actually committed myself to and I know he can be a good guy but I don't know what's going on now

Maybe talk to him again. I understand you don't want to go and it would be hard but I fear that down the road you will end up being hurt worse then if you just left.

I know and that's what I keep thinking about, its just that when were together we have such a great time but when were not, its like he's someone completely different

Do you really deserve to be with him? You said cut her out or me he said he can't cut her out. So now you get out.
