So I was a week late so I took a test and it was negative the day after I started but it only lasted one day. So I took another hpt test and it was also negative. I've been craving weird things and eating a lot my boobs hurt and I'm breaking out really bad and always have a head ache and always feel tired and I've had what feels like menstrual cramps for a month now. I don't know if I tested too early or what's going on. But I have an iud too. What should I do?

You can get false negatives for an entire MONTH after you get pregnant... you are going to have to wait longer to retest.

That means you have another three weeks before you can be sure the negative is really a negative.

However if you test positive at any point you can rely on that positive.
