20 yr old daughter acts like a baby
20 yr. old daughter behaves childishly using a baby voice and taking short steps like a toddler. She thinks it's cute. How can I convince her to act her age?

Appears she has a mental problem if she does that. Is she normal most other ways and can you usually communicate with her ? Does she go to college, work, what does she do during the day ?

    Is she putting you on?

She is a high school graduate and is currently attending college. She is perfectly capable of acting her age but for some reason thinks she is more adorable when she behaves like a small child. I think she thinks there is less expected of her if she acts more childishly than her age.

Does she act this way only with you, or anywhere in public too? (My teen and young adult sil used to talk and walk like Yogi Bear, so count your blessings.)
