Toilet plugs up what's the cause

There are many things that can clog a toilet. You start with a closet auger and auger the bowl,(see images) Do that and see if it solves your problem, If not then the clog's farther on down the line and we'll go to "plan B". Back to you, Tom

Please tell us the brand of toilet, how many gpf. Also lift the tank lid and tell us how close the water level is to the top of the overflow tube.
