For years I had been in love with a woman I had believed was straight. We had been best friends ever since my first year in junior high. Eventually I told this to her and, surprisingly, she accepted the confession and we had gotten together. Throughout our relationship she discovered that she was pan sexual. After about a year of dating she broke it off saying that she wanted to date around before settling down. She also mentioned that it did not mean she lost feelings for me. Does that mean she expects me to wait for her after she is done 'exploring?' Even if she says she will eventually come back I'm not comfortable with it. I still love her. What do you think is the best option for me?

You NEVER wait for someone to get done exploring, you explore yourself while keeping good memories and making new ones. Sucks when things end but you will be grateful later that you have moved beyond this experience.
