My mum had a twin sister who died of Ovarian Cancer, and this year I wanted to somehow raise a fair amount of money, to donate. I did a small thing a few years ago, but I only raised a little bit of money :)

I am looking for fundraising ideas, that will make a lot of money.

It would mean so much to me thanks xo

What did you do before ? Do you have any skills or abilities

1. Sell on eBay and donate 90% to the charity (if it's in the list of thousands eBay has).
2. Organize a penny auction. It's a lot of work getting donations from local businesses, but it's fun and earns a lot.
3. Neighborhood bake and yard sale.
4. Fashion show, using school kids and clothing from local merchants and charge admission.
5. 'car smash' Get a junked car donated that is reasonable looking, and a sledgehammer, and charge by the hit. First person pays most, and so on down the line, it costs less and less.
6. Roller derby. No motors allowed, just handmade cars going down a hill. Entry fee. Prizes for age groups.

Check with your town hall for any need for permits for some of the above.
