Can I claim my grandchild in my taxes?
I have a newborn grandson who lives with me. His mother is my 18 year old daughter. She does not work but I do and I support him. Can I claim him on my taxes?

Since he is your lineal descendant, you can claim him on YOUR tax return as a qualifying child if you provide more than HALF of his total support.
