    Internal pain when urinating
I have had a horrific burning pain when urinating which lasts about 15 minutes after. It's now painful all around and inside my genital area and even sharp pains in my stomach. What's wrong with me ?

It sounds as though you have a UTI (urinary tract infection). Please make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible to get on antibiotics to clear this up.

Hi there, I recently asked a question with regards to painful urination and pain in and around my genitel area, I received an answer saying that it could be a U T I urinary tract infection but I did go to the doctor and they took a urine test and turnes out everything is fine- no infection ?
Could it be somehting else ?

Have you been STD tested? Because I see town things as possibility:
    An STD
    Or
    A urinary Track Infection

What other symptoms do you experience?

No I haven't... what kind of std ? I don't get discharge so I don't think it is an std. It's merely a pain when uritating however it's less regular now... what are the symptoms of an std ? I do get pains back rectum internally... like a weird pressure...

Yeah, I would say a Urinary Track Infection is more likely, but you shouldn't rule out STDs.

The following STDs cause burning during urination:

    Chlamydia:
    -Burning during urination
-lower abdominal and or back pain (if the infection has spread to fallopian tubes, which oiccurs when Chlamydia goes untreated. MANY women have chlamydia. It is the most common STD in the USA

    Gonorrhea
    -Burning during urination
-if untreated, can develop to PID, which is Pelvic Inflamatory Disease, which can cause lower abdominal pain and/or back pain

Those are the only ones I can think of rght now, but I know there are other possibilities. Please get STD tested as soon as possible.
