I changed outlets in my room... now I have no power to my room and the room next to me... but the lights above do work... it does work in livingroom?

If u used the speed push mounts for wires, would move wires to screws. The speed slots may not be making good contact. They also could have broken the wire or can loose.

Did u hook up the outlets the same as they were originally set up?

Yeah I connected them the same way.. I have an oldskool home to fix up.. the old outlets only had one connection on each side... and the new ones have four plus ground... Thanks

The screws are brass and silver. The brass screws are attached to each other by a strip of metal, thereby making them one.

The same is true for the silver screws.

Hook the black wire to the brass and the white wire to the silver.

Have u check the circuit breaker to be sure it is on?

If u have fuses, are us sure fuse is good?
