I have birth by c section may 1. I decided to have the mirena iud put in after 6 weeks. After the insertion I was bleeding heavily and had horrible pain in my legs. They prescribed birth control pills to stop bleeding but it failed to do so. I even went to er and they said everything looked normal. After a week I went back and had mirena taken out and was given the Depo shot. Since then I have been bleeding heavily for about 4 months. It may stop for a few days but start again just as heavy. I was supposed to get my shot 10/10/12 but due to no insurance I didn't. I'm still bleeding! Help?
