Is it Right... or was it Wrong?
I've been a relationship for almost a year now. We graduated from the same high school almost 10 years ago. I believe that everyone is entitled to start of with trust until you loose that privilege But... Is it wrong for a female to give a male friend that she knew for years her phone number? We had a nasty argument on his birthday because that same friend who I knew for almost 8 years I ran into him recently and he calls me to inform me about a death of another friend. Its not like I didn't answer in front of my boyfriend, I answered because I have nothing to hide. In the end of my conversation he asked who it was and I proceeded to tell him. He calls me naïve and gullible and I have whore like tendencies because It will eventually lead to some kind of sexual contact. He said it wouldn't workout between us. I haven't heard from him and its been a few days. I don't have any reason to cheat. I don't believe in revenge but I believe in Karma so he never has to worry about me cheating! I have given him all access to my emails, phone passwords, text messages and I'm in the medical field so I deleted all my social networks because I barely have time to log on to them. I have given him all kinds of ways to trust me. I respect his privacy 100% and I have never went through his phone. Is it wrong for me to have male friends? I have nothing to hide.. I am 200% faithful.. What should I do? Where did I go wrong?

No. You're not wrong. He's insecure though.

He sounds AWFUL. The leap to you being 'naive and gullible and I have whore like tendencies because It will eventually lead to some kind of sexual contact' is just baseless, paranoid, suspicious, untrusting, and unfair. Ditch him! UGH

There's nothing wrong with a woman in a relationship having male friends. I have plenty of guy friends and my husband is totally fine with it.

Is there any chance that your friend has feelings for you? If he does, it might explain your boyfriend's reaction. Even still, your boyfriend should have more trust in you.
