I have been having sewer smell from myshower drain for months now. Not long ago I had all my cast iron drain lines replaced hoping this would eliminate the problem but no luck. I've had ever line, vent and what ever I could snake snaked butstill no luck. HELP!!

Take flash light and look inside the drain. There should be water standing there. Please, confirm...

There is water standing in the trap but there is a ton of white gritty build up.

Most bad smells from showers come from rotting hair and grease. The solution would be to snake the drain line and then pour a quart of bleach and let it set foe a few hours. Flush the mess out whit a big pan of boiling water. Smell better now? Good luck. Tom
