Can you be on steroids and not gain weight
Most steroids unfortunately cause weight gain, though every person responds differently to medication, you just might get lucky and not gain a thing
I was just listening to a conference call this morning regarding a man with COPD or emphysema living in the Branson, MO area who had been waiting for a lung transplant and living on oxygen 24/7 just six weeks ago. In two weeks of consuming Original Limu, he was able to attend church without his oxygen and also able to sleep through the night.
There are many cases of people consuming Original Limu with asthma who have similar stories about the benefits of Original Limu.
Check out other information provided in the Hypertension thread regarding what Original Limu is and why it is making such an impact on the health of our nation.
Also, let me personally help you through my website at www.limunight.originallimu.com or at [email protected] or 979-297-1919. There is a world of hurting people and this discovery leading to Original Limu I believe is going to be sweeping the country as the answer. It is merely a food but an exceptional food from the sea that helps the body heal itself. Be blessed.
I have both emphysema and asthma. One of my medications is called Advair... by prescription only. It's a steroid. No effect whatsoever on my weight. On balance: Your diet would be a big factor. I'd talk to your Doctor about this issue.
HANK
My wife was living with me in the gulf from 1989 to 1999 and was perfectly all right. When they moved and settled in India she started to get continuous sneezing. One of her brother told her use an oil on her head and since she used it once her sneezing moved to breathing trouble. She was taken to a doctor who gave her steroid and she started gaining weight. I took her to another doctor who asked me to stop steroids which in his words will kill her kidney. Since that day she has stopped intake of steroid tablets but is using the inhaler. Now she is in real trouble and is getting sneezing, body itching and breathing trouble one by one. I have gone throuh one post (Mr. Thorp)regarding original limu. We have tried, Homeo and Ayurvedic medicines but not with much improvement. I would like to have the reply from someone who has used this original limu before I buy and try this original limu.
Yes, you can be on steroids and not gain weight. I have been on asthma medications since I was 3 years old. It is always important to have an active lifestyle even with lung diseases to help strengthen the lungs and keep fit. I have has very severe asthma and alergies. You do need to be more careful it is just a matter of getting the asthma undercontrol.
I can talk from personal experience. I have been on two steorid drugs for my astma for years and it has had no effect on my weight, last of activity can, many people with astma does not have as much activity in their life.
Diet and exerise is the main control of weight.
Dear Shaved, 2005 01 18
I was hoping maybe someone else could have responded to your inquiry but the Original Limu product is so new that very few people have yet heard about it.
One can talk about steroids and other medical treatments. Original Limu is not a medicine; it is simply an incredible nutritional product that builds the immune system and provides the nutrients so direly missing in our present food supply such that the body is given the opportunity to heal itself according to Hippocrates, the Father of Modern Day Medicine who said, "Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food" and "Above all, do no harm."
I have tried everything and so have a number of others regarding improving my health and we all have concluded that there is nothing like Original Limu. We look at it as the ultimate supplement coming from the sea with all the minerals and trace metals that are missing from our present fruits and vegetables due to the overworked and unreplenished soils.
I share Original Limu with people to help them as I was helped.
Give me a call at 979-297-1919 or email me at [email protected].
God bless,
Thorp
