    Condom broke
My best friend had sex two nights ago. She's not ready to have a child. Someone was at the door and her boyfriend pulled out his penis really quickly but the condom was broken. She's scared because she doesn't know if the condom broke when they were having sex so she doesn't know of she is pregnet! I'm scared for her and the baby if she is pregnet because she talked about starving her self because she is not ready to be a mother! I need to help her! Any suggestions?

There's really nothing you can do. If it was two days ago than it's a bit too late to take the morning after pill. There are some pills that are good up to 3 days after, but the longer you wait the less reliable they are.

Fact is, even if the condom didn't break there's a risk of pregnancy. No form of birth control is 100% and condoms are one of the least reliable forms of birth control out there.

She'll have to do what every other woman on the face of this earth has to do, and that's wait and see. If she misses her next period than she needs to test using first morning urine. If she is pregnant she has options. Starving herself will not only harm her, but the unborn baby, it would not necessarily cause a miscarriage. You can't right one wrong with another.

If she's not ready to be a mom than she should stop having sex, it can happen at any time, even with protection.

Even if the condom did not break, they have a 3 to 10 percent failure rate, so there is always a good chance of pregnancy using just a condom.

Since by now, the three days is most likely over, even the morning after pills are not a real choice now.

So at this point, she waits till her next period, and see if she has it, or misses it.
