How do I transition from copper pipes to existing galvanized pipes- can it be done
[QUOTE][How do I transition from copper pipes to existing galvanized pipes- can it be done/QUOTE] You first solder on a threaded male adapter on the copper and use a dielectric union , (see image) to transition to galvanized pipe. Good luck, Tom
Follow Tom's instructions.
FYI: Do not use brass fitting - as they used to be used for that purpose. They are not accepted as die-electric fitting anymore. Milo
Hey Milo! I learn something new from you guys all the time. Care to fill me in on dielectric
Unions? Thanks, Tom
