    Breastfeeding and alcohol
I was wondering... I have a 7 month old who I am breastfeeding. I haven't had any alcohol of any kind (not that I ever drank much anyway) and my sisters want to take me out this weekend. I was wondering, now that he sleeps through the night am I able to go out and have like 4 drinks with them if I don't have to feed him for 9-10 hours later? Is it safe?

NO! And you shoulden't leave your baby unattended!

Just like you can't breast feed your baby after smokeing,EVEN ONE CIG,you also cannot breastfeed until after the alcohol has left your body entirely!

That means peeing a whole lot!

Alcohol is released from your body in three ways. Sweat, Breath, and Urine. As Darkie said, DO NOT DRINK AND THEN BREASTFEED! Just order something like iced tea or water. For the safety of your baby, listen to us.

Whoops, I just looked at the date it was originally posted. Oh well. If anyone ever has a question regarding this topic, feel free to message me.
