Car won't start it turns over slow flat batterie is sealed unit so what can I do
Hi I have had no problems with my car at all although it is 10 year old I've only had it 1 1/2 years so after my clutch snapping I got it back from the garage and within 2 days it would not start so I charged the batterie which is a sealed unit with breathe hole but now after 3 days the car won't start again although it tries a bit you can hear starter moving slowly so I have removed batterie again and put it on charge but after about 10 minuits it said charged even though it showed flat when I put it on charge so I'm stuck for ideas, the car is a peugeot 206 1.6 gsi of which I know nothing about ( put me in front of a gas appliance boiler etc and I know everything) but cars not much, id be gratefull for any help please

Take the battery to a parts store and have them load test it... I bet its bad. You really don't know how old it is or if it ever was excessively discharged in that time.

. Install a new battery. Have the auto parts store charge it before installation--it will save your alternator, which is a battery maintainer, not a charger.

. Clean the battery terminals and cable connections.
